This course covers the knowledge and skills necessary to enable members of Girlguiding to provide basic First Aid and ensure safe management of a first aid incident.

This course is suitable for volunteers who need to renew their 1^st Response qualification or who need to complete First Aid training for the first time.  

To complete the 1^st Response qualification participants will also need to complete the 1st Response e-learning module.

Directions to Bluewoods Adventure Lodge

Bluewoods is Hut 23 in Tilgate Park Recreational centre, whose main entrance is off of the K2 car park.

You need to turn into the K2 Leisure Centre and then almost immediately right, up a small road

signposted Tilgate Park. On this road there are turnings up to the huts on the right hand. The entrance to our Lodge is just past a layby type car park on the left. Our Lodge is the large one, with windows, at the top of the entry road. There should be sufficient parking spaces by the Lodge for depot usage.

Please bring a notebook, pen, your lunch, drinks (hot water is available) and something to kneel on.

Please wear casual uniform.
