This course covers the knowledge and skills necessary to enable members of Girlguiding to provide basic First Aid and ensure safe management of a first aid incident.

This course is suitable for volunteers who need to renew their 1^st Response qualification or who need to complete First Aid training for the first time.  

To complete the 1^st Response qualification participants will also need to complete the 1st Response e-learning module before the face to face training.

• Saturday 31^st August 2024 (in addition to session being held in Bluewoods)
• 9:15am for a 9:30am start

 The session will follow any Covid-19 Girlguiding guidance for indoor training that is relevant at the time of the training. Please wear casual uniform.

Please bring a notebook, pen, your lunch, drinks (hot water is available) and if you require a soft mat or cushion to be more comfortable when kneeling to practice the recovery position, then please do bring one.

The chairs at the hall can also be quite uncomfortable so you may wish to bring a cushion.

Parking available in the carpark or at the industrial unit opposite.
